Crosswinds is a seven piece horn band whose style of music includes current Top 40, 60's and 70's classic rock and soul, Rhythm & Blues, and popular Jazz and Standards for dinner music. This versatility enables the band to adapt to any occasion and please any type of group from old to young.

Crosswinds consists of seven very talented and professional musicians. The band is fronted by vocalist Dave Harris, who's style and stage presence reminds you of Lou Rawls and Smokey Robinson. The horn section contains trumpeter Bob Larson and saxophonist Steve Powell both of OSU's Jazz program and veterans of various Big Bands. The rhythm section includes Kurt Smith on vocals and guitar, Chris Calvin on lead vocals and bass, drummer and vocalist Bob McCarthy, and on piano and synthesizer, Chris Baker a member since the bands beginning n 1975.

Crosswinds has enjoyed nineteen years of continued success because of the groups professionalism and their willingness to adapt their music to each particular event and audience.
