About Curtist

Curtist Zimmerman began his professional career in Los Angeles at 12 yeas of age working with members of the LA Mime Company. He went on to study in Richmond Shepard's School of Mime in Hollywood. In the last 20 years, Curtis has made his sole profession in this field performing as resident mime for Universal Studios/Hollywood, Marineland, and Knott's Berry Farms. Hitting the high seas, he performed in the Caribbean, and the Mexican Riviera as a headliner on Carnival and Regency Cruise Lines. Curtis gained national recognition as the Yoplait Mime Search Winner in Los Angeles. This honor embarked him on a three-year tour promoting the art of mime across the U S.

Since relocating to Ohio in 1991, Curtis has captivated many thousands with his one-man show and has shared his talent in hundreds of workshops for students and teachers throughout the country.
