The Ark Band performs original roots reggae, high-energy calypso and sooa music to enthusiatic crowds across the country. Hailing originally from the Caribbean islands of St. Lucia, the Virgin Islands and Jamaica, the Ark Band formed in 1987. The eight member group has opened for Culture, Inner Circle,and Freddie McGregor.

More recently the Ark Band was the only American reggae group awarded a showcase position at the international North by Northeast (NXNE) music festival in Toronto, Canada. The Ark Band's many shows have allowed them to develop a crisp, tight sound with solid , sweet vocal harmonies.
